Elaine Yin, MD, MPH, FACOG to relocate to Santa Maria

January 30, 2012

Cherished Patient,

It is with great pleasure and excitement that I let you, my valued patient, know that Central Coast OB/GYN is expanding into Santa Maria. We will be opening an office in Santa Maria where there is a tremendous need for OB/GYN’s. Concurrent with the opening of Marian Medical Center’s new hospital building, I will be relocating my practice to Santa Maria effective April 1, 2012. This will permit us to expand our group and allow me to help develop a residency program for Obstetrics and Gynecology in conjunction with a major university. The new residency program will be a wonderful addition to the Central Coast.

This was not an easy decision for me to make. Knowing that the community of Santa Maria was underserved, there was an opportunity for Central Coast OB/GYN to expand and for me to realize a life long dream of truly giving back to the Central Coast and help teach a new generation of physicians.

It has truly been an honor and a privilege to care for you over the past years. I would understand if the relocation of my practice presents a hardship for some of you to see me in Santa Maria. I have outstanding partners who are willing and able to care for you at the location of your choice in San Luis Obispo or Templeton. Should you choose to continue your care with me in our new office you of course will be welcomed with open arms.

With sincere gratitude and appreciation,

Elaine Yin, MD, MPH, FACOG
