Ruth Boisseree, N.P.
Ruth received her BSN from Cal State Long Beach in 1990; MSN from Drexel University in 2003; and her Nurse Practitioner in 2007 from Cal State Fresno. She has worked as a Labor and Delivery Nurse as well as an Emergency Room Nurse. She has been an NP for 5 years with CCOG in Templeton and continues to work as an ER nurse at Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center in SLO.
Toni MacClain, N.P.
Toni has been a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner since 1990. Prior to that, she was a labor and delivery nurse and doula. She is a native Californian, and joined CCOG in 2006 when she returned to California after working in a large women’s health practice for 13 years in New Hampshire, not far from Boston. She has a broad interest in all aspects of women’s health care, and particularly enjoys patient education and adolescent health. Outside the practice, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son and daughter, hiking, photography, and playing the flute.
Lori Melson, N.P.
Lori has been working in womans health since 1980. She started out as an office nurse, worked labor and delivery before becoming a Nurse Practitioner. She has been an NP for 21 years on the Central Coast.
Kim Phillips, N.P.
Kim graduated form the University of Southern California with a BS in Nursing in 1986. She worked as a Registered Nurse in various woman’s health settings before becoming a Woman’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner in 1999. She completed her Masters of Science in Nursing at Western University of Health Science in 2001. Since then, she has been employed as a nurse practitioner with Mission Medical Associates and Central Coast OB GYN. Kim enjoys reading, quilting and aerobic dance classes.
Cindy Scott, NP
Cindy began her now-seasoned career in health care after graduating from Los Angeles Harbor City College in 1973. From this moment on, she worked in various hospitals: Harbor General Hospital and Sierra Vista Hospital in critical care. In San Jose at Good Samaritan Hospital, she assisted in the 400 to 500 deliveries a month in Labor and Delivery. Her extensive background includes pre-term birth prevention, experience alongside midwives as well as 5 years at Planned Parenthood. Cindy also opened and managed her very own medical office for 8 years until 2012, when she joined CCOG.
In her down time, she enjoys researching family history, gardening, and knitting. Cindy has 2 grown children and a grandson.
Jill Machado, NP
Jill presents a colorful lineup of education and experience. Starting out with a B.S. in Nursing from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1997, she continued her studies, completing a Masters of Science as Family Nurse Practitioner from Gonzaga University in 2004. Jill has worked in obstetrics and gynecology since 2005. She relocated from Boise, Idaho to the Central Coast in 2009. Jill currently lives on a ranch in Shandon with her husband Rick and their son Jack!
Rachelle Mueller, N.P.
Chelle came to the central coast in 1979 as a Registered Nurse working at San Luis Obispo General Hospital in the OB/GYN department. She was a staff nurse, charge nurse, nursery charge nurse and OB relief supervisor. She also assisted the development and implementation of the Perinatal Substance Abuse Prevention in the Central Coast. Chelle completed her Nurse Practitioner Certification program through San Jose State University and began practicing in Women's Healthcare as a Nurse Practitioner in 1998. Chelle has practiced in both private practices as well as community clinics and just joined CCOG January 2, 2013!
